Nicson White is the dynamic Founder and Managing Director of BRW top 100 Fast Starters company Health Protect International. Through creativity, marketing and savvy management, Nicson has grown HPI from a humble start up in 2005 to a network of over 130 Licensees across Australia and New Zealand today within three years. Nicson’s company has serviced over 15,000 domestic homes, more than 4,000 hotel rooms and has won multiple awards including the current My Business Magazine Small Business of the Year.

With a background in Licensing, International Business and Languages, Nicson has represented HPI on the Sky Business TV Channel and operates the company alongside his business partner and mother, Janice White. Nicson is also responsible for the Healthy Hotels Program. A hygiene/marketing initiative which helps hotels to leverage from the latest consumer trends with a more profitable and hygienic room offering.

What we learnt

That even when you think you know it all - you really don't know it all. OR, if you think you aleady know it all - maybe you do - and you've just forgotten whilst being caught up in every life! So although most of us probably thought we didn't need it - Nicson White's very well workshopped reminder on Sales and Marketing for business seemed perfectly apt for all of us in the room! He even covered off our values and highlighted the fact that we need to take into consideration what we really want - against how we are 'actuallly' spending our time! This explained why some of us were struggling in different areas! Now we are ready to go forth and sell our own products in a well planned and statistically proven way! Great lessons Nicson!

On Sunday, Gayl Regina taught us how to manifest what we want in life by understanding that we are all energy and that we are all interconnected and that once we understood some of these things, we could then learn to manipulate energy by acting in a certain way. Gayl talked about the basic rules of manifesting, sent us on a quick journey to our goals end so we could see, hear and feel what that would be like (very nice!) and brought us back to some foundational steps around business process mapping to end a great weekend.

What we missed

Well we certainly missed our co-founder Grahame who could not make the weekend due to other significant priorities, but he did send us this message!
